GT solo AoS Clermont Ferrand: Sons of Behemat take the win

Mancrusher Gargant x3
Mancrusher Mob
Kraken-eater Mega-Gargant
Mancrusher Gargant x3

A huge two-gargant shell with enough Mancrushers to keep pressure on every part of the table. It is the kind of Sons of Behemat list that forces the opponent to solve multiple giant problems at once.

  • Ruler of the Spectral Hosts

Damage package

  • Pyregheists x5.

  • Craventhrone Guard, reinforced.

  • Pyregheists x2.

Support and scoring

  • Lord Vitriolic.

  • Chainrasps x2.

  • Nexus of Grief.

This is a clean pressure list with strong board play, layered threats, and enough support to keep the engine running.

3rd — Hervé Spartan, Stormcast Eternals

Thunderhead Host
Celestant-Prime, Hammer of Sigmar — General

Elite threats

  • Questor Soulsworn x4.

  • Vanguard-Raptors with Longstrike Crossbows, reinforced.

Utility and mobility

  • Neave Blacktalon.

  • Lorai, Child of the Abyss.

  • Neave’s Companions.

  • Knight-Relictor.

  • Stormreach Portal.

This list has a very clean competitive shape: long-range threat, deep utility, and multiple elite melee pieces for trading and pressure.

4th — Laurent Iniesta, Blades of Khorne

Murderhost
Wrath of Khorne Bloodthirster — General

  • Frenzied Taskmaster

  • Ar'gath, The King of Blades

Battle line and hammers

Core package

  • Blood Sisters, reinforced.

  • Khinerai Heartrenders.

Support block

  • Slaughter Queen.

  • High Gladiatrix.

  • Shrine of Dark Tribute.

A classic Morathi shell: hard to remove, strong on mission play, and still dangerous enough to punish mistakes in combat.

6th — Antoine Audin, Disciples of Tzeentch

Mutants and Mad Things
Kairos Fateweaver — General

Spell and pressure tools

  • Chaos Spawn x2.

  • Scourge of Ghyran Kairic Acolytes x2.

  • Gaunt Summoner.

  • Tzaangor Enlightened, reinforced.

  • Tzaangor Skyfires, reinforced.

  • Tzaangors, reinforced.

  • Argent Shard.

It is a very Tzeentchian list: strong magic, awkward board control, and enough shooting to punish opponents who give it breathing room.

Closing thoughts

Clermont Ferrand was not a one-list event. The top end mixed monster mash, ethereal pressure, elite shooting, and aggressive melee armies, which gives the weekend a well-rounded competitive feel. The fact that the entire top six finished on four wins also suggests that the event was tightly fought from start to finish.
